Ron McKernan died not long after this photo was taken, but of course neither of them could know, or even suspect, at the time. This old photo makes me a little melancholy.
Two great voices that went great together. (Sadly, Leon Redbone was one of the artists we lost this year. He passed away last summer of dementia at age 69.)

The singer refers to herself in the third person, as “Seether,” when she loses control of her temper. Once you know that, the lyrics fall into place.
